The Lady in Red

Shake, shake the blogger bottle,
First none'll come, and then a lot'll.

We've spent the last week on holiday. We've been to Exeter, Poole, Sixpenny Handley, Winkfield Row, Sunningdale and Blacknest. We've visited my Godmother, Aunt, Uncle, Mama, and Cousins.

For some reason, we didn't take many photos, but we have a nice one of Mama, Jennie and Naomi, all dressed in red.

If anyone that we visited is reading this, thank you very much. We had a great time, and really enjoyed seeing you all and catching up again.

Happy Birthday

Sorry that this post is so late. Naomi's birthday was on the 8th, but we had trouble posting photos to this site, and then we went on holiday (more posts to follow).

Anyway, it snowed overnight before her birthday, so we took Naomi out to see the snow. She was absolutely entranced which, of course, absolutely entranced us. I guess a white birthday is the next best thing to a white Christmas.

The photo is Naomi showing off new tricks on her birthday. The new trick is walking, which she enjoys doing, even if only while we're holding her up.

On the subject of her birthday, we had a party for her on Sunday. It was a multiple celebration; Naomi's birthday, and the breaking-in of the new patio. We ended up shattered, but really enjoyed ourselves, and it was great to see so many people who have enjoyed Naomi's first year with us. I guess the term I'm looking for is friends.
