Sit down next to me

New furniture!

With Naomi starting to eat solids, and getting biggerer by the day, we thought it might be nice to try her in a high chair. We spent a while looking at lovely adjustable wooden chairs for hundreds of pounds, and then bought the cheapest chair we could find, on sale.

Naomi seems well chuffed with it though; she sits and bangs her toys on the tray. If this gets boring, she throws her toys on the floor, which is pretty fun until she runs out of toys.

As a last resort, she spreads food over it, sometimes using an age-old projectile method (and used food).

The blue also brings out her eyes something lovely.

Jennie and Naomi have been away since Thursday (Saturday tonight) and I'm astonished at how much I miss them. It's absolutely great watching Naomi developing new tricks and looks, and I worry that I'm going to miss something.

Still, I've been working loads, and later than usual, so it's not been too bad. They get back tomorrow too. Can't wait.

Mr Writer

Well, Andrew has visited again and decided to teach Naomi some programming whilst he was here. Secretly I think he wanted her to break his laptop so he'd have an excuse to buy a new one. As much as I'd like her not to become addicted to computers this is an improvement on what happened last time Andrew came to visit:
