The Sweetest Thing

Just look at her, isn't she the sweetest thing ever. Naomi has been particularly good natured since she recovered from chicken pox and we are regularly discovering things that are guaranteed to make her laugh. Peek-a-boo behind her bead box works a treat, so does spinning her bottle top or food bowl, sticking your tongue out for a prolonged period or screaming ouch when she bites!

Things are getting very busy for Christmas now. Naomi is loving the Christmas tree and I'll be interested to see how she reacts to all the paper on the day. Russell unfortunately has to work every day bar Christmas day, however, he does have a few days off in the new year which we are very much looking forward too.

I've realised that I've messed up a bit with the blogging. I had a perfect non Naomi subject to blog on and I didn't realise until too late. The laying of the patio has been a long drawn out affair and I could have been posting regular updates on it. It has taken over 8 weeks to complete and there are now several people around Edinburgh who get a nervous twitch at the word patio (Russell, his dad and my boss probably being the worst affected) However, the end is most definitely in sight. I reckon 3 hours on friday should see it finished. And because you've not had any photographic updates whilst we've been working, you're going to have to wait until it's definitely finished to see it.
