What A Difference A Day Made

We just had a great day out on saturday, in fact probably the best day I've had in a long time - apart from the fact that Russell wasn't able to come (honestly, that didn't make the day good, I think it was the glorious sunshine mainly). We had a bit of a Church outing to East Links Family Park. As I've mentioned the weather was gorgious but also the park was great fun. There was so much to do and unlike a lot of places most of the kids fun stuff had adult size options so we could join in too (my one bit of advice is don't wear a skirt, it's hard enough keeping your modesty on a trampoline let alone a go-kart)

The best bit had to be a huge circular swing that you could lie on and have an obliging husband push for you - I had to borrow someone else's. I swear my tiredness just vanished on that swing and I was transported away to some wonderful hot world, I could have swung all day. Unfortunately, there was a queue for it and my tiredness came back as soon as it stopped.

Not sure that Naomi was too bothered by the day out, though she did seem to like the go-kart ride and all the attention from her aunt, but I don't think she quite knew what to make of the donkeys. Anyway, I thoroughly recomend going to this place and it's definetly worth the £7 to get in.

To top the day off we went to another bbq. Tim, as usual, filled our camera with pictures of himself but I've decided to save you from that and instead here's one of Naomi wanting to look like her dad followed by Adrian's dubious idea of DIY.
